Classes and Private Parties at PINOT Boutique are conducted in the cozy downstairs space known as “The Cellar at PINOT.” With its low ceiling, exposed Colonial-era brick walls, low-key accent lighting, and wine bottles everywhere, The Cellar at PINOT is a warm, welcoming setting that’s highly conducive to socializing and learning about wine.
WEEKDAY CLASS SCHEDULE
Weekday classes begin at 6:30, run for approximately one and a half hours.
Weekday class tickets are $39 per person,
EXCEPT FOR FOOD PAIRING classes which are $49 per person.

Seriously, learning the methods of wine evaluation helps you find what style of wine you enjoy the most. By comparing different styles in a guided tasting, you'll learn what you like and why. We will explore Old World & New World wines; light body & full body, and the influence of oak, tannins & acids. We'll also discuss proper handling, serving and storage of wine. After this class, you'll know all sorts of interesting wine terms to show off your heightened wine IQ to all of your friends!
Take the mystery out of wine in an easy, fun-filled setting where you’ll learn about the basics of wine and taste a variety of wines from around the world. You’ll feel like a wine ‘insider,’ confident in choosing what to drink and ready to explore more! We’ll explore wine regions, how wine is made, wine varieties, and how to read a wine label. This is the class for casual wine drinkers ready to take the next step into the exciting world of wine.
It’s time to get bubbly! Sparkling wine is not just for New Years Eve and weddings anymore. Sparkling wines can be fantastic aperitifs, they pair easily with many foods, and yes, they are always fun when celebrating. Taste sparkling wines of the world: from Cava (Spain) and Prosecco (Italy) to the sparkling wines of California, French Crémant, and of course the original, Champagne from the French region of the same name. Discover the various types (from Extra Dry to Sweet), the secret pairing power of sparkling wine, and learn the answer to that age old question, “ How do they get all of those bubbles in there, anyhow?”

This is going to be a fun social class that will provide you with some basic knowledge of wine tasting. It will be an exciting evening out with your girlfriends. Wine and parlor games go together. In fact it was discovered long ago to make for a fun and lively evening, filled with socializing, a test of wits, and perhaps even a bit of intrigue. Come try your hand at some classic games like Bunco , as well as some wine varieties of popular board games like Wine-opoly. Finish with the ever popular "Wine Tasting Party” kit as you test your palette against your friends’ in a guided blind tasting.
